Feng Tsao

FOUNDER

Feng received her Master of Special
Education from the University of Santa Clara in 2011 while working as an early interventionist with the Early Start Program in Santa Clara Country. Her early intervention work has been greatly enhanced by her previous experience as a neuro-developmentally trained pediatric physical therapist in Canada. With over 30 years of experience working with children and families living with special needs, Feng offers a playful and compassionate approach that helps her to connect with her young clients and families, resulting in high levels of motivation and positive developmental outcomes. She received her PT degree from McGill University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto.

 
 
 
 
 

Edie Elder

Physical therapist

Edie received her Master of Physical Therapy from Columbia University, after completing her Kinesiology degree at UCLA. Her pediatric experience spans 35 years, and includes 15 years with California Children’s Services (CCS), 20 years in NICU and outpatient units, and 23 years in home visiting, where she began her career as an early interventionist. Her eclectic background combined with her lovely ways with little ones, results in families who feel bolstered and supported, and young children who feel empowered to try new and challenging tasks that ultimately result in developmental achievements.

Christina Daniell

Early interventionist

Christina has over 20 years of experience working with young children and their families, including the past 10 years as an early interventionist with Early Start. Her earlier work as a preschool teacher, parent educator and child-care consultant, has provided her with an array of tools that help nurture and facilitate child and family learning and development from within a community and family strength perspective. Christina received her Master of Social Work from San Jose State University after completing her degree in American Multicultural studies at Sonoma State University.

 
 
 
 
 

Gayle Chasid

Gayle received her Master of Birth-to-Three, Development and Intervention from Wheelock College in Boston, Massachusetts, after studying Psychology and Early Childhood Special Education at Northeastern University. She is a certified early interventionist in the State of Massachusetts, and is dual-certified as an infant massage specialist and educator for infants with special health care needs. With over 12 years of experience in early intervention, Gayle’s greatest passion is working with the tiniest and most medically fragile children with special health care needs. Gayle shares her experience and tireless energy to empower her families with knowledge, so they may confidently advocate for their child’s developmental needs. Gayle is the owner of Tiny Miracle Massage.

Bregje Van Breugel

early interventionist

Bregje has over 25 years of experience as a Pediatric Physical Therapist. She was trained in The Netherlands after which she spent many years working with the youngest group of 0-3 years old in Dublin, Ireland She is specialised in Neuro-developmental treatment and certified in Sensory Integration.

Bregje moved to the US in 2016 where she is now working as an Early Interventionist for Kidstream, combining her years of experience as a pediatric physical therapist with all other areas of development. Bregje started her studies by getting a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama and Theater studies at the University of London, which she says comes in useful when playing with this younger age group. She moved on to study physical therapy as she realized this was where her passion lay. She loves the times she spends playing with the kids who need her and helping the families. Bregje has 3 kids of her own that are now mostly grown up and in college.

 
 
 
 

Amy Kaiser

Amy has over 30 years of experience working with young children and their families as a teacher, trainer, program director and mentor. She received her Master of Human Development from Pacific Oaks College and her Bachelor of Child Development from the University of Idaho. Over the past decade, Amy has dedicated her skills to early intervention and special needs, where her ability to look beyond the diagnosis and highlight the unique strengths of each child and family has resulted in empowered families and positive developmental outcomes. Amy strives to always put herself in her young clients’ shoes, in order to better meet their needs by understanding what they are trying to communicate through their behaviors.

Marilu Rodriguez

occupational therapist

Marilu received her Master of Occupational Therapy from Loma Linda University and holds a Bachelor’s degree of Psychology from San Diego State University. Her pediatric experience began in 2002 while working at Rady’s Children’s Hospital San Diego as a Developmental Specialist for Children Care Connection (C3), a non-profit First5 program. At C3 Marilu worked to identified children’s developmental needs and follow up with parent/child referral to classes and home visits to address their child’s developmental needs. Marilu was inspired by the occupational therapist from C3 to pursue a career as an occupational therapist. Marilu continued working at Rady’s Children’s hospital as a certified occupational therapist in the outpatient clinic in North San Diego County and taught classes for C3. Marilu moved to San Jose, CA in 2008 to pursue her love for home therapy combined with clinic work. Her experience with home visits with the Early intervention program and clinic work combined, results in a wonderful partnership to empower parents and children to explore fun sensory play and movement to achieve their developmental goals.

 
 
 
 
 
 

Cheryl Padalino

Speech and language pathologist

Cheryl received her Master of Speech Pathology and Audiology from San José State University and also has a degree in Foods and Nutrition. She has over 20 years of experience providing speech and language services to young children in homes, schools and private clinics. Cheryl worked with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing program through the County Office of Education, and has taught social skills groups for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She also served as Vice-President of the Santa Clara County National Stuttering Association, was Fundraiser Chair for the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association at San Jose State University, and was a mentor for graduate students of Speech Pathology and Audiology. Cheryl’s passion for becoming a speech pathologist was influenced by her own speech communication difficulties during her childhood and young adulthood. Overcoming her challenges gave her the freedom to follow her passion. She deeply understands how important communication is and wants to help others reach their potential to become effective communicators.

Georgia Ip

business administrator

Georgia Ip has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Phoenix. She has 21 years of administrative experience in the healthcare staffing industry. Reporting to the Executive Director as the Accounting Manager and IT Coordinator at DRG Health Care Staffing over the past 15 years, Georgia’s meticulous attention to detail was key in helping the organization run smoothly, including the day-to-day administrative process relating to San Andreas Regional Center services. She brings to Kidstream a wealth of business administration knowledge, including accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, finance, payroll and personnel on-boarding. Georgia values being connected to the health care service industry by supporting the profession and working behind the scenes in the delivery of health care services, especially for the little ones.
